Roots of Tomorrow is a youth-led non-profit organisation dedicated to addressing climate change at its roots.
We are a small group of passionate young individuals who believe in the power of community-driven solutions. Our goal is to foster sustainable habits, raise awareness, and create opportunities for people to make a difference in their own lives and communities.

Help reduce waste by donating your pre-loved clothes! We’re organising a city-wide clothing drive where you can drop off items at your local library. These clothes will be recycled, repurposed, or sold in our thrift stores to promote sustainable fashion and reduce textile waste
Join us as we restore our local ecosystems by planting native trees. This initiative not only helps combat climate change but also supports biodiversity and provides greener spaces for our communities.
Visit our pop-up thrift store and shop sustainably! Our stall will offer gently used clothing at affordable prices, helping reduce fast fashion’s impact on the environment. All proceeds go directly toward funding our future sustainability projects.

Founder
I’ve always had a deep connection to nature and a strong desire to protect our planet. After co-founding St Cuthbert’s Sustainability Group and serving as a REAL (Rangatahi Environmental Action Leader) for Auckland Council, I realised that the change I wanted to see needed to go beyond school grounds. I started Roots of Tomorrow—to empower youth and communities to take action on climate change. Aotearoa is feeling the effects of this crisis right now, and we need to act together, for today and for tomorrow.
